Framing is done . . . need to finish plumbing and wiring

Tile from Spain and Mexico . . . actually it was cheap . . . but it sounds rich.
Duke and Roxie's dog door obscured by the water heater. Duke files a formal protest.

New over the stove microwave, hood, light. I think deb planned this well in advance.
Electrical is in. Now for the wiring

John and Becca discuss the fine art of hanging can light.Scott get's angry at some escaping electrons and takes out a switch. Unbeknownst to him, the power is off and the eletrons "have left the building."

Final touches for framing and windows go in.

Well almost, we were missing one. Roxy inspects framing for whirlpool bath.
Duke reports that one window is missing.

Time to roof . . . we are about 6 weeks ahead of schedule

Out with the old fireplace . . . being replace with a clean burning propane.Waterheater being sized . . . yes our own waterheater just for our bath.
Duke says roof. Yes the roof is on.
Awaiting framing and new fireplace.

Stuff Arrives


Over 3 ton of stuff arrives including all electrical, insulation, carpet, and tile. This is why we wanted the oversized garage to store stuff. All the fun was in unloading it.
